And So Time Passes…

I’ve been so busy doing the thing that I’ve not stopped much here to tell people about the things I’ve been doing. Fact is, if you follow me on Tiktok or Facebook you probably have a better idea of what I’ve been doing lately than what’s here…

So, what’s been happening?
Well, the seasons come and go but this place feels eternal – even as I know it is like a new place every time I visit, and I know change is ever happening and very much coming.

The Ersity of Was has been fortunate to welcome many new students this year, two different Sams, a Dane, and even a Dorothy that stopped in to visit the first Waterfall with Mike. I can’t say how blessed it makes me feel to be able to share this place and the trail with so many of you.

In between new students and returning ones, I’ve been training up, the heat of summer not deterrent to my efforts. My average miles are still hitting a little over 100 per month…closer to 150 in September truth be told. In that time I’ve looped the loop at Reynold’s Creek, climbed to a fire watch tower in Seven Devils, and even double bagged two peaks in the Owyhee front – French John Hill and Windy Point if it doya fine, say thankee.

What’s next? More miles of course. I’m still finding new places on campus to play, new challenges to meet and enjoying my time along the way. As long as the weather is good enough for my little car to get out – or if anyone wants to shuttle me around for a change! – I still go out year round.

If you’d like to visit for a walk I’d love to hear from you – get in touch! If you’d like to just lend some support and buy me a cuppa visit the links to the campus store!
